The Pennyrile Regional Energy Agency was founded as an interlocal agency to provide enhanced energy supply opportunities to the Pennyrile region of western Kentucky. PREA’s first project will be a 53-mile natural gas supply line, Pennyrile Energy Corridor, serving portions of Todd, Christian, Trigg, Caldwell, and Lyon counties, with the aim of providing reliable, affordable energy solutions to unserved and underserved individuals and companies. Our mission is to facilitate projects like these, which bring jobs, resources, and improved quality of life to our part of western Kentucky.
